【Temporary Closure Due to Typhoon No. 6】
Due to the approach of Typhoon No. 6, strong winds and heavy rain are expected across Kagoshima Prefecture.
Typhoon No. 6 is currently moving north over the sea south of Okinawa Island. It is expected to gradually shift its course eastward and move along the southern coast of western and eastern Japan while maintaining its storm zone.
Considering the safety of our customers and staff, Kanosuke Distillery will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, June 2.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to customers who were planning to visit us, and appreciate your kind understanding.

Experience whisky making through
all five senses and end your visit at the Mellow Bar.
At Kanosuke Distillery in Hioki, Kagoshima, we offer guided tours of our whisky production process by advance booking.
When you arrive at the distillery, warmed by the southern winds and sunlight, your tour begins. See the entire whisky-making process, get close to where the whisky is created, and take in the sweet smell of malt along with a wide range of rich, layered aromas.
Additionally, we offer other experiences such as a tour of the maturation warehouse, where you can observe the diverse casks and experience how time gradually shapes the whisky, as well as a guided blending session where you can create a whisky tailored to your own taste.
At the end of every tour, you can enjoy a whisky tasting at the Mellow Bar, which offers views of the endless horizon stretching out over the East China Sea.
We invite you to experience a moment and place unique to our distillery, where the essence of our craftsmanship comes alive.
