KANOSUKE SINGLE MALT PEATED

Limited quantity peated Japanese whisky from KANOSUKE's flagship “KANOSUKE SINGLE MALT” series.  
Kanosuke Single Malt uses distillates from our three pot stills that have been matured in a variety of casks, including ex-shochu, sherry, bourbon, and red wine casks.
Each distinctive character is vatted together, layering the elegance and fineness of Japanese whisky with a richer, mellower flavour.
This limited edition is crafted predominantly from peated malts matured in re-charred ex-shochu casks and bourbon barrels, with the final blend adding a selection of whiskies from other select casks to round out the flavour. The result is a gentle smokiness balanced with refined, juicy flavours of fruit and honey. Matured in our warehouses where the cool ocean breeze sweeps through in winter, it carries a subtle hint of salinity.
Our blending expertise and having a wide range of distillates and cask types is what enables us to create whiskies which combine elegance with a rich, full flavour.  
This uniquely mellow take on peated whisky won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
